ISLAMABAD: Federal minister for Inter Provincial Coordination Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada inaugurated the new building of Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) here on Tuesday.
Secretary IPC Ejaz Chaudhry and Secretary IBCC Ramzan Achakzai were among the guests of honor. The new office will provide state of the art facilities to the students who apply for equivalence and attestation of their degrees.
According to an official statement, the minister also congratulated the staff of IBCC for getting an independent building. It will significantly improve the efficiency and service delivery. The new building has ample sitting area for students and their parents.
A booth of United Bank has also been set up so that the applicants don’t have to go anywhere else to deposit their dues. The Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) is a forum for Coordination among educational boards across Pakistan. The organization is also responsible for uniformity of curriculum in Pakistan.
Another function of IBCC is to grant equivalence to foreign qualifications with corresponding Pakistani certificates at the Secondary, Higher Secondary and Intermediate levels. Technical education, local certificates and diplomas also comes under its ambit. IBCC also organizes curriculum and co-curriculum activities on inter board level.
