PAF: (Pakistani skier calls on SFP President

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani skier, Mohammad Karim, called on Air Marshal Sohail Gul Khan, Vice Chief of the Air Staff Pakistan Air Force, who is also President Ski Federation of Pakistan, (SFP) in his office on Wednesday.

According to a press statement, Mohammad Karim, has returned from abroad after completing one month training in the FIS Alpine Ski Training Camp Austria. The Skier briefed the President SFP about his experience at the training camp.

The President Ski urged him to continue with the same enthusiasm with special focus on physical fitness to further improve his FIS ranking and winning a medal in forthcoming Olympics Winter Games.

It is pertinent to mention that Mohammad Karim also participated in the same training camp last year, which proved instrumental in his qualification for Olympics Winter Games 2014 at Sochi, Russia.

Continuing with the legacy of promoting sports and patronizing sportsmen Skier Mohammad Karim has been employed by Pakistan Air Force. Karim is also a former student of PAF Shah Khan Ski School Naltar and has won several medals in Children and National Ski Championships.
