Islamabad: Pakistan-Turkey relations are of extraordinary nature and would further expand in the years ahead’. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkey H.E. Mr. Muhammad Haroon Shaukat said this while briefing a 17-member delegation of the participants of National Security and War Course of the National Defence University of Pakistan who are currently on a study tour of Turkey, says press releases received from Ankara.
The Ambassador said ‘public welfare’ tops the agenda of both the leaderships of Pakistan and Turkey. He informed that efforts are being made by both counties to translate the excellent brotherly relations into good economic ties. Mr. Haroon Shaukat said there is great potential for bilateral investments.
He shared that Turkish entrepreneurs are keen to invest in Pakistan in the areas of infrastructure, energy and municipal services. Recent successful Turkish projects in these sectors have great scope to be further expanded into many more cities in Pakistan, he added.
