ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and France have vowed to spare no effort in fostering bilateral relations as the two countries confront challenges, like terrorism and climate change.
The commitment was expressed by Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan and French Ambassador Martine Dorance here Wednesday at a ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Khurram Dastgir Khan said both sides have common interest and they want to work together against challenges like terrorism and extremism.
He hoped that both the countries would inject a fresh vigour into their long-standing relationship. In her remarks, the French envoy Martine Dorance said France and Pakistan have had long-standing political and economic relation.
She said trade between France and Pakistan is bound to bloom as there is more room for Pakistani products in France and there are great opportunities for French companies in Pakistan. She said both the countries also have to work together to face the challenge of climate change.
