ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has said that Pakistan will continue to extend strong cooperation to Saudi Arabia to fight the menace of terrorism.
He expressed these views, while speaking with a Saudi parliamentary delegation, which called on him here on Tuesday under Chairman of Shura Council of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-sheikh.
The President said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are tied by the bonds of common faith and culture. He said Pakistan attaches great respect to Saudi government and people for being the custodians of two holy mosques there.
The delegation expressed confidence that strong brotherly relations between the two countries will continue to grow in days to come. Earlier, talking to young parliamentarians here, President Mamnoon Hussain said the future of Pakistan is linked with democracy.
He said owing to the prudent economic policies of the government the budgetary deficit has reduced from eight to 4.4 percent. He urged the young parliamentarian to wage Jihad against corruption.
