ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid on Thursday urged all political parties to work together on a national agenda to economically uplift the country and to solve issues of national interest.
In an interview, he said federal government has released over one billion rupees against the estimated demand of three billion rupees for carrying out relief activities in earthquake hit areas. The rest of the amount would be paid by KP government.
He said Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) set aside all political differences and are working jointly for providing relief and rehabilitation of the earthquake affected masses. The minister said Pakistan Army and civil administration are playing vital role for the provision of relief to the affected masses.
