ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday said that terrorism will soon be eliminated from the country.
He was talking to the world fame Pakistani origin British Boxer Amir Khan who called on him here on Tuesday. He said a lot of terrorists have already been killed in operation Zarb-e-Azb.
On this occasion, Amir Khan extended condolences over the loss of lives in Peshawar incident and condemned the terrorists attack in strongest terms. He told the Prime Minister about his plan to set-up a boxing Academy in Pakistan.
Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan is proud of the achievements made by Amir Khan. Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and Political Secretary Dr. Asif Kirmani were also present in the meeting.
Meanwhile, senior vice president of Motorola Solutions, Mohammad Akhtar called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif along with a delegation and briefed him about the Motorola security system.
The delegation extended condolences over the tragic Peshawar incident. The Prime Minister said government is providing an enabling environment to both local and foreign investors. He said priority of the government is to improve the security situation across the country for which important steps are being taken.
