ISLAMABAD: A meeting between Finance Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader (PTI) Jehangir Khan Tarin is expected to take place today (Monday) to develop a consensus on the issue of formation of a judicial commission to probe the alleged rigging and irregularities in the general elections held in 2013.
Jehangir Tarin had written a letter to the Finance Minister asking the government to respond to PTI’s questions over the proposed judicial commission to inquire poll rigging.
Political sources said that Ishaq Dar has responded Tarin’s letter via an email and told the PTI leader that he would meet him as soon as he returns to Pakistan, most likely on Monday. Jehangir Tarin confirmed that the meeting was likely to take place on Monday to discuss issues relating to the formation of the judicial commission.
