ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi on Tuesday said that Pakistan is ready for talks with India on all issues, including Kashmir, but without any preconditions.
He said this while addressing a seminar on Pakistan-India relations in Karachi on Tuesday. According to a press release issued here, Fatemi called upon members of civil society to continue pressuring the leadership of both the countries to come to negotiating table.
Speaking on the occasion, former foreign minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri appreciated Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif for taking initiative to hold composite dialogue with India.
Former Indian diplomat turned politician, Mani Shankar Aiyar stressed on Pakistan and India to develop friendly ties. He was of the view that hard political problems between Indo-Pak can also be resolved once dialogue is started.
