Islamabad: Senate’s Functional Committee on Human Rights has unanimously passed a resolution about lifting ban on Youtube website.
The committee held its meeting in Islamabad on Monday in chairmanship of Senator Afrasiab Khattak. The committee said the issue of lifting ban from Youtube will be raised in today’s Senate session. It is suggested by the committee that ban on the website is of no use.
It is worth noticing that the government had imposed ban on the website about 18 months ago because of webcasting of blasphemous material.
