Islamabad: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 13% Pakistanis had received a document or letter through the post or courier service in the past month; 87% Pakistanis had not.
A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four provinces was asked, “Please tell, during the past one month did you receive any documents/letters/bill etc.
through the post or courier service?” Responding to this question, 13% respondents said they had received some document/letter/bill through the post or courier service in the past month, while 87% respondents said they had not received anything through the post or courier service.
The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International.
The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2597 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during December 8 – December 15, 2014. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
