Two persons killed in firing near District Courts Rawalpindi


Islamabad: Two person were killed and another wounded when armed assailants opened firing near District Courts in Rawalpindi on Friday. According to Regional Police Officer Rawalpindi Akhtar Hayat Laleka, the armed men have been arrested. Armed men opened firing around 11am in district court killing advocate Sardar Ameer and his nephew while injured four others.

The assailants were fleeing with the body of lawyer when the Rawalpindi Elite Force surrounded them near Morgha. After heavy exchange of fire the elite force commandos arrested all four attackers while a personnel was injured in incident who was immediately taken to nearby hospital. According to police the incident occurred due to old enmity.
