Work on 18 power projects underway in Diamer


Islamabad: Work on 18 power projects is underway in Diamer district of Gilgit-Baltistan to overcome power crisis. According to media reports a spokesman of Power Department that these projects will be completed at a cost of Rs. 2.8 billion.

The schemes include setting up of new hydro power houses at Chilas, Darail, Kanbari, Raikot and Mathate, installation of new transformers and laying of transmission line from Kanbari to Dudushal.
