Islamabad: President Mamnoon Hussain has urged the youth to launch a country-wide campaign to weed out corruption.
He was speaking at a function organized by Anjuman Hilal-e-Ahmar in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The President said corruption is the root cause of most of the problems of the country.
He said increased economic activities and visits of foreign dignitaries to Pakistan are clear indicators of the country’s enhanced stature in the comity of nations.
The President particularly referred to the projects to be undertaken under the umbrella of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and said these would help bring about a revolution in Pakistan.
He urged all segments of the society to contribute their share in completion of these projects and remove hurdles in their way.
