Islamabad: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and GB, Chaudhry Muhammad Berjees Tahir said that Muslims all over the world were facing hardships because they had deviated from the teachings of Holy Prophet (pbuh). They were being subjected to the threat of militancy because they lacked unity in their ranks, he added.
The Minister was addressing a Milad un Nabi commemoration ceremony on Tuesday in Nankana Sahab and Sangla hill.
The Minister said the life of prophet (pbuh) was a true portrayal of Quran and if we follow his teachings in letter and spirit, we would be rewarded with success in this world and the hereafter.
The Minister said Islam is a religion of peace and inculcates in us the virtues of tolerance and restraint. We can overcome all our problems by adopting the golden principle of tolerance, he added.
