Pakistan‚ China sign 3 MoUs for initiating power projects

Islamabad: Pakistan and China have signed three Memorandums of Understanding to install five power projects. Under the memorandums‚ China’s Western Power Company will install two plants of 660 MWs in Sahiwal and 150 MW plant each in Lahore‚ Faisalabad and Multan.

A Solid Waste Power Plant will also be set up in Punjab. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that billions of dollars investment will be made through these projects.
