Special Court issues non-bailable arrest warrant of Musharraf

Islamabad: The special court has issued non-bailable arrest warrant of former President Parvez Musharraf for not appearing before the court today (Friday).

Registrar Abdul Ghani Soomro reading out the Court order said that Musharraf should be arrested and presented before the Court on 31st of this month.

The court declared that the order regarding his arrest will be applicable from the morning of 31st March‚ if the accused denies to appear before the court.

The court also directed Secretary Interior to make fool proof security arrangements at the time of appearance of Musharraf.

He has been directed to make sufficient arrangement for the safe travelling of Musharraf between Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology and the court premises.

The court also directed Secretary Interior to remain present in the court during hearing on 31st of this month.
Hearing of the case has been adjourned till 20th of this month.
