Islamabad: A six member delegation of Yemen Air Force and Air Defence headed by Major General Rashed Naseer Al-Janad, Commander Yemen Air Force and Air Defence visited Pakistan Air Force Academy, Risalpur, Air Weapon Complex and Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra, says a press release.
Major General Rashed Naseer Al-Janad, Commander Yemen Air Force and Air Defence visited Pakistan Air Force Academy, Risalpur, where he was received by Air Vice Marshal Rashid Kamal, Air Officer Commanding PAF Academy Risalpur.
The Chief of Royal Air Force attended a comprehensive briefing about the Academy’s organization structure and training. The distinguished guest also visited various training units of academy including College of Aeronautical Engineering, Air Defence Training School, School of Air Traffic Services, Simulator Squadron and Flying Instructors School. Later the delegation also visited Air Weapon Complex.
It was received by Air Vice Marshal Arshad Khan, Director General Air Weapon Complex. The delegation attended a briefing about the working and organization structure of AWC. The distinguished guests visited different departments of the complex and took keen interest in various projects and research work being carried out at AWC. The delegation also visited the Global Industrial & Defence Solutions department.
The delegation also visited Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra. It was briefed about various factories and facilities at PAC Kamra. The delegation visited Avionics Production Factory and Aircraft Manufacturing Factory where they took keen interest in the Final Assembly Line and Flight Testing facilities of JF-17 Thunder and Super Mushshak aircraft.
Earlier, on his arrival he was received by Air Marshal Sohail Gul Khan, Chairman PAC Board Kamra, who introduced the members of PAC Board and Managing Directors to the Yemen Air Chief.
Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra being the leading Aviation Industry, has placed Pakistan amongst the elite group of countries that also manufacture fighter aircraft. The delegation also visited PAF Base Minhas and PAF Base Nur Khan. They were briefed about the functioning of various units and flying squadrons.
