Jamaat launches public contact campaign


Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chapter has announced to launch public contact campaign from March 1-23 in connection with party membership.

This was announced by JI Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman while addressing a press conference at Idara-e-Noor Haq here on Friday.

Hafiz said that the JI will contact to more than 2million people during the campaign and persuade them to join Jamaat-e-Islami. He said they will hold a ‘Tahaffuz-e-Pakistan’ Convention at the end of the public contact campaign on March, 23 at Nishtar Park which would be addressed by JI amir Syed Munawar Hasan.

He said JI will setup camps in all union councils for membership and also hold corner meetings outsides mosques, teashops and bazaars for inviting the people to spread the message of Islam by joining the Jamaat.
