JI IOK urges meaningful talks for Kashmir settlement

Srinagar, September 15, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, Abdul Hameed Fayaz, has urged India and Pakistan to start meaningful negotiations to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

Abdul Hameed Fayaz addressing the inaugural ceremony of Jamia Masjid Muradpora in Shopian reiterated the JI’s stance that it desires a peaceful and stable settlement of all such disputes in accordance with the aspirations of the people concerned. He also urged the Kashmiri people to follow the Islamic teachings in letter and spirit and propagate and practice the Islamic principles, keeping away the differences among the different schools of thought regarding secondary issues.
