Peshawar: Jamat-e-Islami on Monday warned federal government to avoid conspiring against Khyber Pukhtunkhwa government otherwise it will not be in the best interest of democracy.
“Jamat-e-Islami will not become part of any conspiracy against the elected government of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa therefore federal government should avoid resorting to horse trading and floor crossing to topple KP government otherwise PML N will pay the price for it,” General Secretary of Jamat-e-Islami Liaqat Baloch said while addressing party slot holders in Peshawar.
Liaqat Baloch said that PML N in its 90 days government has increased the prices of petroleum products for third time which pushed the prices of daily commodities to extremely high position made the it hard for the poor to survive.
He said that increase in petroleum p are not being made according to the oil prices in international market rather PML N had already agreed with IMF that it will increase oil and gas prices to get loans from the monetary fund. JI leader said that his party rejects the recent increase in oil prices and it start protest across the country against this unjust decision of the government.
Talking about Situation in Syria and US threats for attack, Liaqat said that USA had no right to attack Syria and condemned the threats given for attack. Islamic countries should sort out a strategy to solve the situation in Syria, he said.
