KARACHI: Minister for Prisons Sindh Manzoor Hussain Wasan said on Thursday that 2015 would be the year of cleanliness, which would also be made in jails, cities and villages after which peace would come everywhere, while colours to be restored and then the nation would celebrate the peace and prosperity.
“This peace would be got through martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the prosperity, development, spreading of knowledge and peace building of country,” he said in a statement.
Wasan said: “Peshawar school children killing was national incident and in view of innocent martyrs mourning, the death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto would be held with simplicity on 27 December 2014.”
He said sacrifice of innocent children was so great that the whole nation and all institutions had agreed to unite against terrorism. The sacrifices of the martyrs have converted the impossible into possible.
He said: “This is a test of national leadership of the nation that how quickly elimination of terror would come.” He said from 1947 to 16 December 2014, our elders and children had given unprecedented sacrifices for the prosperous and peaceful Pakistan and this process would still be continued.
He expressed his views while meeting with party members and others in Wasan House Karachi. He said: “The 25 December is the birth anniversary of Leader of Nation Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and it is also the day of Christian community for celebrating the holy festival of Charismas so on this day, we will have to take practical measures for the guarantee of equal rights for all religious communities of Pakistan according to Quaid-e-Azam’s teachings.”
