219 Pakistani companies taking part in Heimtextil exhibition from Jan 14


KARACHI: Heimtextil, a textile exhibition, will open its doors on 14th January 2015 in Frankfurt, with 2,693 companies showcasing their products to large number of trade fair buyers coming from all over the world.

Heimtextil will discover the new trends of experience around the globe. The 219 companies from Pakistan are taking part in the exhibition including small and big manufacturers of home textile industry such as Gul Ahmed, Al Karam, Yunus Textile, Al Rahim, Kamal Ltd etc.

Trade Development Authority of Pakistan has also organized a pavilion with 48 companies in the Asian Halls of the exhibition 10.0 and 10.3. Trade visitors from all countries/continent attend Heimtextil to find new suppliers for all product group.

Mehmood Rangoonwala , Chairman South, Towel Manufacturer Association said, “Being biggest international trade fair for home textiles and a global benchmark for quality design textiles of innovative functionality had great importance for Pakistani textile exporters as retailers around the globe visit this fair for new fashion trends and to place their orders for coming spring season, he said.

He said that duty waiver facility has provided great support to the exporters enabling them to compete well with regional rivals in international market.”

Heimtextil 2015 is going to talk about innovation and sustainability. The overarching theme of Heimtextil 2015/16 is therefore “Experience”. Everything revolves around our sensory experiences of textile worlds. Entitled ‘Experience’, the new ‘Theme Park’ illuminates the latest mega and micro trends via a variety of visualisations and topics, and looks into ways modern interior design can be implemented creatively in the various spheres.

The creative head of the Heimtextil Designer Team and also the new Theme Park is the Dutch designer Anne Marie Commandeur from the Stijlinstituut Amsterdam – a strategist and visionary who works within an international network of multidisciplinary trend researchers.

Private customers will not have access to this trade fair but will experience the latest trade fair trends when they visit their interior designers or trusted bed retailers. Very soon after Heimtextil those stores will be offering the latest items from the manufacturers’ collections, with advice for anyone interested in interior decoration.

This event is positioned in Market. You can meet the entire breadth of demand. It will impulse for doing third country business. The economic conditions are favorable for the exhibitors as Heimtexilte is one of the largest and most important fair in the region of Frankfurt. This year about 2,700 exhibitors are participating and about 66,300 visitors are expected to be there.
