KARACHI: As many as 26 HIV/AIDS virus infected patients have died across the Sindh province since 1st January 2015 to date, which includes 23 men, two women and a child.
This was revealed by Program Manager of Sindh AIDS Control Program, Dr Mohammad Younis Chachar while talking to media persons. He said a total of 26 HIV/AIDS patients died throughout the province this year so far, while program management had also registered 1,157 more HIV patients in the province so far.
He informed that program administration had registered 9,107 HIV cases and 235 AIDS cases since 1995. He said seven diagnostic centres are operating across the province to detect and treat such patients.
