56 truckloads of wheat reach Karachi


Karachi: Fifty-six trucks, carrying 16,04,500kg wheat reached Karachi during last two days, said a handout of Sindh Food Department here Monday. Food Minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar said there is no shortage of flour in Karachi, as wheat could be brought from four districts Larkana, Qambar Shahdadkot , Dadu and Jamshoro for Karachi. He said they have imposed ban on inter district and inter provincial movement of wheat except Karachi. He claimed 42000 kilograms of wheat flour were brought to Sunday   bazaars in Karachi.
