Accused’s remand extended in explosive case

KARACHI: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday extended the remand of an accused, Mohammad Aslam to police on physical custody till 19th May 2015 in an explosives material case.

Police produced the accused before the ATC judge under tight security. The investigation officer requested the court to allow the further physical remand of the accused as he was required for investigation to trace his connections. The court accepted the police request and remanded the accused to them on physical custody till 19 May.

According to prosecution, the accused was arrested in April and police seized explosives substance from his possession.
