Karachi: Pakistani batsman Ahmed Shehzad’s CT scan shows depressed fracture of zygomatic arch of skull. The report was received by the team management on Monday afternoon in Dubai.
The century-making Pakistan opener was hit in the head, and was out hit wicket owing to the impact for 176 in 116th over of the Pakistan innings, by a short delivery from Corey Anderson.
“The specialist surgeon has confirmed minor fracture and has advised 48 hours of close monitoring. In case the pain doesn’t subside than the surgeon may opt for decompression”, said team manager Moin Khan.
He was in considerable pain, and was taken for CT scan, which confirmed minor fracture.
