KARACHI: Al-Khidmat Pakistan leader and former mayor of Karachi Naimatullah Khan said that establishment of a modern complex in Thar is a big plan, on that work is going on.
This Al-Khidmat complex will be constructed on a 10 acres land and would be well-equipped with modern facilities. It will not just be a big gift for Thari people, but the people of adjoining areas too.
He said this while taking an overview of the work on the plan of Thar Complex under Al-Khidmat Foundation. He said that in the complex to be constructed on the Mithi Bypass with facilities of Islamic centre, a boys’ hostel & college, first aid centre, mother & child health centre Aghosh, community centre, mosque, madrassa, playground and a veterinary hospital.
He said that it is a very expensive project as the complex will be equipped with modern facilities and the people of adjoining areas will get benefit from this.
Naimatullah said that Thar is a very poor area and successive governments have never thought about its problems seriously. Al-Khidmat Foundation is working there for decades to serve people.
Khan said that they will provide every possible help to Thari people. He requested the philanthropists to help Al-Khidmat in this plan.
