KARACHI: The founder leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), Altaf Hussain has felicitated the entire Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi.
In a statement issued from London Secretariat, MQM Chief said the day of the occasion is the day of blessing for the Muslims. He said the day is reverend for the entire humanity and said to obey the teaching of Mohammad (PBUH). He said that the Muslims should respect and protect their non-Muslim neighbors.
Hussain said: “We should preach humanity and tolerance as per guidance of the holy Prophet (PBUH) teachings.” He congratulated all the Muslim brothers and sisters on the sacred occasion and requested not to forget poor and unprivileged people of their communities.”
He said today the Muslim Ummah needs more cohesion and unity and needs to protect each others’ lives and properties. He appealed to the Ullema to preach sectarian harmony and respect each others’ faiths. He prayed for the peace of the world, especially for Pakistan.
