KARACHI: The Anti-terrorism and Anti-narcotics 50 KM Road Cycle Race was organized by Pakistan Sportsmen Lions Club International and Pakistan Adventure Cycling Federation in the city on Sunday, which was won by Mohammad Asif Junior from Wapda (PEPCO).
Asif covered 50km in just an hour, nine minutes and 55 seconds with difference of just five seconds against Shah Jahan Baloch of Karachi East who got 2nd position. Mohammad Nasir from Karachi Central got 3rd position.
Race was started from Malir Cantt Gate No.02 which passed throught Super Highway, Sohrab Goth, Nagan Chowrangi, North Nazmiabad, Liaquatabad, Hassan Square, Karsaz, Shahrah-e-Faisal and Drigh Road and culminated back to Malir Cantt.
Special guest Abid Ali advocate inaugurated the race and distributed prizes among the winners.
