KARACHI: An Anti-Terrorism court (ATC) on Monday issued arrest warrants for Assistant Director of Airport Security Force (ASF) over his extended absence in the several hearing of the case.
The ATC judge on Monday conducted hearing of the case and remarked that Assistant Director ASF is a plaintiff in the case and despite several notices did not appear before the court.
Earlier the same court had issued non- bail able arrest warrants for main culprits in the case, TTP chief Mulla Fazlullah, spokesperson Shahidullah Shahid and 9 other.
The militants on 8th July 2014 had attacked Karachi airport and killed at least 15 people. Later TTP claimed the responsibility of the attack and their spokesman said that the attack was also carried out to avenge the death of Hakimullah Mehsud, who was killed in a US drone strike.
