KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh claimed on Monday to have killed an alleged terrorist of banned outfit, Tehrik-e-Taliban in an encounter at Mominabad while a ranger personnel were injured.
Pakistan Rangers Sindh, Public Relation Officer (PRO) informed that rangers’ party conducted targeted action in Mominabad area. On seeing rangers terrorists started firing which was replied by rangers, who arrested one terrorist in injured condition who later died in hospital.
PRO further informed that a ranger also sustained injuries. The killed terrorist has been identified as Imran Kohistani who was the ring leader of the target killing team of the banned outfit in Karachi.
During the action, rangers cordoned off the locality. The killed terrorist was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for an autopsy.
