Bilawal grieved at death of Agha Saleem

KARACHI: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman, Pakistan Peoples Party, has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Agha Salim, the renowned writer, scholar author of several books, novels, poetry and columnist, who passed away today after prolong illness.

PPP chairman paid glowing tribute to Agha Salim for his contribution in Sindhi literature, especially the translations of Shah Jo Risolo – the poetry of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai into English and Urdu besides gifting wonderful novels and poetry.

“Agha Salim’s demise has created an abundant vacuum in Sindhi literature, which is hardly to be filled in near future. His memories will remain with us and all those who love and understand worth of literature in a progressive society,” he added.

Bilawal also offered condolence to the bereaved family and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and courage and fortitude to the members of grieved family to bear this irreparable loss.
