Burney thanks Saudi Arab, Yemen

KARACHI: The Ansar Burney Trust International has thanked Saudi Arabian Government for converting the death sentence (cutting of neck by sword) of a Pakistani National Ghulam Mustafa into 15 years imprisonment.

Ansar Burney also thanked Pakistan’s President Mamnoon Hussain for the kind support from Presidency in saving the life of Pakistani national. Chairman of Ansar Burney Trust and former Federal Minister for human rights, Ansar Burney, Advocate in this regard also thanked Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior and Pakistan Consulate in Jeddah.

In another case Ansar Burney said his Trust is also thankful to Yemen Government for releasing Pakistani national Abdul Rehman from a Jail of war-torn country Yemen. He said in such a critical war and civil war situation release of a Pakistani is not less than Miracle.

Abdul Rehman was facing life sentence in Yemen’s Sana’a jail since last one decade from where he contacted to Ansar Burney Trust with proof of his innocence.

After having come to know the Ansar Burney Trust immediately contacted the Yemen Government and Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Interior.
