Call for positive behaviour with special children


Karachi: President Aura Welfare Society Asma Zaib on Saturday said special children are the integral part of society and people should realize their responsibilities regarding the special children.

She expressed these views while talking to the media men during a fund-raising festival for special children organized by Aura Welfare Society on theme “We promote Disabilities” at Karachi Arts Council.

She said Aura Society has organized this event to collect funds for special children who are unable to bear their school expenditures. She informed that Aura Society will bear the expenditures of about 25 special children for their schooling through funds collection.

Asma Zaib, while highlighting the aims and objectives of Aura Society, said improvement of the children with behavioural problems and multiple disabilities like slow learners, dyslexia, autism, asparagus, syndrome, ADHD, mental retardation, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, etc performance in their educational, vocational, psychological & physical sphere during their formative years of development with active participation of normal children, parents and teachers.

She urged the citizens to eliminate differences with special children and adopt positive attitude with these children to make them useful for society in future. She said people should realize the fact the special children are important part of society.

Aura Welfare Society also organized the musical show, special children performance, free blood and thalassemia test and colourful stalls for visitors.
