Karachi: The Cancer Center of the Child Aid Association at National Institute of Child Health Karachi has completed 16 years of service providing free state of art treatment to the under privileged children coming from all parts of Pakistan as well as neighbouring countries of Iran and Afghanistan.
Out of thousands, that received treatment during this period majority have returned to normal life.
The association could perform this service due do donations received from individuals and organizations through their CSR. Last year over sixty millions were spent for this purpose.
Due to rapid increase in the number of patients more funds are required.
Child Aid Association is holding fund raiser on 16th April at Indus Valley School of Arts at Clifton. A musical presentation of history of Karachi shall be presented produced by Sohail Malik well known in this field, says a press release.
