CM spokesman denies news attributed to Qaim


KARACHI: The spokesman of Chief Minister House Karachi on Wednesday contradicted a news item appeared in sections of media quoting Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah as saying “Nawaz Sharif was my Prime Minister and that the question about his act like monarch be asked from former president of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari.

Clarifying the statement of Chief Minister Sindh, the spokesman said that actually the Chief Minister Sindh was asked by a media reporter to comment on the statement of the former President Asif Ali Zardari, asking Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif not to act as monarch during his visit to FPCCI headquarters on 15-07-2014. The Chief Minister Sindh had only replied that Nawaz Sharif was the Prime Minister of our country and this question may be asked from him to whom matter pertains.

The spokesman said that the statement associated with the Chief Minister Sindh for calling Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as his (my) Prime Minister and that the question about Prime Minister act like monarch be asked from former president Asif Ali Zardari was totally wrong, baseless and concocted.
