CM takes notice of forced closing of markets

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has directed the IG Sindh Police and DG Rangers to take strict action against the miscreants involved in aerial firing and getting the markets, business centers of Karachi closed forcibly.

He asked them to provide protection to the traders, shopkeepers and transporters at all costs. He asked the police investigation officers to undertake proper investigation of the cases of heinous crimes before submitting same for challan in the courts. He said that Sindh Government would not left the targeted operation against the terrorists, kidnappers, target killers and extortionists merely at the risk of poor performance of police investigation officers.

He paid surprise visit to the Sindh Secretariat, police stations and markets, business centers in various parts of the districts of South, East, West and Central including Saddar, Electronic Market, Tibet Centre, Jamia cloth, Light House, Bolton Market, Memon Masjid, Tower, Maripur Road, Gul Baie, Shershah and Site Industrial area. Lastly the Chief Minister also took round of Tipu Sultan Road, PECH Society and Shara-e-Faisal.
