KE has developed such a system in which feeder automatically gets tripped with spell of drizzling only, which is termed by them as ‘rain feeder trip’ and it is usually restored hours after rain is stopped.
Administrator KMC reached at KE complaint cell on Tipu Sultan road where the window from where complaint gets registered was closed and nobody was present to listen and register complaints of a large number of citizens present there. He expressed anger over the behaviour and directed to open the windows then the KE staff opened the windows and started registering complaints.
He remained in the complaint cell for 20 minutes and talked to KE higher authorities after which electricity started restoring.
Siddiqui visited Malir, Kala Board, at 3:00am on the complaint of gathering of water, meanwhile, the water was cleaned on information of the commissioner’s arrival by staff of local government departments.
