KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman while citing the recent incidents in which two doctors were killed, said that the doctors have been compelled to close their clinics due to ongoing targeted killing spree.
“A massive amount is being spent in term of fiscal budget on police and other security departments, but those security departments have completely failed to arrest criminal elements,” he said in a statement.
Expressing his deep concerns over the continuous targeted killing spree of the doctors, Hafiz Naeem said that the targeted killings of professionals including doctors and lawyers had raised serious concerns over ongoing targeted operation in Karachi.
He said that the government had completely failed to restore law and order situation in country, particularly in the city.
