Employee union vows to foil PIA privatization plan

KARACHI: President, PIACE Union, Pakistan International Airline (PIA), Ubaidullah, said on Tuesday that PIA employees would foil all plans of privatization of national airline on 5 June by their votes.

Inaugurating his union coordination office for 5 June referendum at Karachi airport, he said that sun of 5 June would rise with message of new morning for PIA workers. He urged workers to vote electoral sign candle for foiling PIA privatization plans.

He said that after victory of PIACE Union, PIA would be made free of looting and nepotism and it would be converted into a prosperous and profitable airline.

PIACE Union General Secretary Muhammad Ahmad Siddiqi, Muhammad Saleem, Malik Muhammad Nabeel and Muhammad Hamadoun were also present.
