Encroachments removed from Liaquatabed

KARACHI: Anti-encroachment department of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation on Monday removed over 200 vendor carts, cabin shops and other encroachments from Apwa Girls High School Liaquatabad and Supermarket to Liaquatabad No 10.

On the complaint of the residents, the anti-encroachment department under the supervision of Director Anti-encroachment Mazhar Khan and Deputy Commissioner Central Dr Saif-ur-Rehman.

The residents of the already congested area had to face great trouble due to encroachments. Traffic used to get choked. The encroachments had even blocked streets by establishment there.

Mazhar Khan said that efforts were being made for constant monitoring of the areas where encroachments were removed.
