EU delegation meets Sindh CS


KARACHI: Chief Secretary Sindh Mohammad Siddique Memon has assured the European Union (EU) to extend full cooperation in implementing the European Union Programmes in Sindh viz; Education Sector Programme, Public Finance Management, Reform Support Unit Nutrition Programme and Training Programme.

He was talking to EU delegates M/s Francois Bernard, Hoste Amany, Siddiq Bhatti and Zeshan Tariq, who visited Chief Secretary Office and exchanged views over the programmes. Appreciating the EU delegates, Memon referred the STEVTA (Sindh Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority) Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Programme (BBSYDP) and other training schemes and said that all departments like education, finance, health and planning & development have been asked to associate with EU in their Sindh based programmes, as they have been associating with World Bank and Asian Development Bank.

Meanwhile, Memon also met general public and received their complaints ad issued spot orders for their solution.
