Five killed in Karachi


KARACHI: Five persons were killed in separate incidents in the city on Monday.The body of a strangulated teenage boy, Naseer, 18, son of Shakeel, resident of Korangi, was found from the house in Mehran town, Korangi. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.

Another body of a man, Salman, 35, resident of Korangi, was found from the house in Korangi No. 1 ½. It was brought to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for an autopsy.

The police said the incidents seemed to be suicide; however further investigation was under way.

A man, Nassebullah, 38, son of Asmatullah, was shot dead by unidentified armed men Mawach Goth. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.

In another incident, a two day old drowned body of unknown person aged about 35, was found from the bushes near Soda Company in Bhens Colony. It was shifted to JPMC for medico-legal formalities.

Separately, a youth, Naseer, 25 son of Ghulam Ali, was gunned down by unidentified armed men near Tooba Para in Baldia, Mawach Goth. The body was shifted to CHK for an autopsy.
