KARACHI: Law enforcers on Tuesday raided on a hideout of extremists and five alleged militants were killed during exchange of firing, said police and rescue sources. They said the encounter took place in Gulshan-e-Bunir area near Suhrab Goth when police raised the hideout of banned Tehreek Taliban Pakistan. They said five militants were killed in the encounter, while police recovered arms, ammunition and material used in terrorist attacks. Those killed in the encounter included banned TTP Sawat chapter commaner Javed alias Umar. Acting IGP announced a cash reward of Rs0.5million for the raid party.
