Five people gunned down in Karachi


KARACHI: Five persons were gunned down, while four other injured in different firing incidents here on Saturday.

In firing incident on Liaquatabad Police Complaint Centre, two constables were targeted. Of them Constable Mohammad Ali died on spot, later lady constable Kiran also succumbed to her injuries. Bodies were sifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital

In another firing incident, Shah Wali, 20, Saeed Hussain, 25, Jawaid, 30, were gunned down in Ramzan Goth near Ijtima Ground, Manghopir. Bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

In another incident, Waheeduddin, 30 was gunned down while Mohammad Nasir, 40, was injured in firing of unknown persons near Garam Chashma in Manghopir area. Both were resident of North Karachi and shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

Separately, Rafique, 28, son of Ismat Gul, resident of Surjani town, was injured by unknown persons near Main Markaz Chowrangi. He was shifted to Liaquat National Hospital.

In another incident, Umair Gul, 25 son of Badshah Gul was injured in firing of unknown persons near Disco Bakery, Gulshan-e-Iqbal. He was also shifted to Liaquat National Hospital.

In yet another firing incident, Fateh Mohammad, 40, son of Noor Mohammad resident of Suhrab Goth, was injured by unknown persons near Ayoob Goth, Mohammadi Masjid. He was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
