KARACHI: Four alleged terrorists were killed in a police encounter in Rehri Goth in the outskirts of the metropolis in the wee hours of Sunday.
Senior police officer, Rao Anwar claimed that four terrorists have been killed in the encounter.
He said the victims – identified as Zubair, Ammar, Arshad and Nisar – were associated with a banned organization. SSP Rao told media that police raided a house in Rehri Goth on a tip-off and killed all the four terrorists in an encounter.
Anwar said that the terrorists were involved in sectarian killings, attacks on police and Rangers, extortion and other heinous crimes. He claimed to have recovered arms, ammunition and snatched motorbikes from the killed terrorists.
