Four die, one injured in mishaps


KARACHI: Four people were killed and one other injured in separate mishaps in the metropolis on Thursday.

A man, Saeed Khan, 34, son of Naimat Khan, was electrocuted during work in 19-B Muhajir Camp, Baldia Town. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy.

In another incident, a man, Ghulam Qadir, 35, son of Ahmed Yar was

electrocuted in a factory of Ahsanabad Industrial Area in Gulshan-e-Maymar. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

A youth, Imran, 24, died after falling from an under-construction building near SeaView. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre(JPMC) for an autopsy.

A 12-year-old boy, Mohammad Ali, son of Saeeduzzaman resident of Keamari drowned into sea in SeaView Clifton. The body was shifted to JPMC for medico-legal formalities.

A man, Aman, 35, was injured when a speeding vehicle hit him in Defence Housing Authority. He was rushed to JPMC for treatment.
