Four killed in city violence

KARACHI: Four persons were killed and other a man injured in Karachi violence here on Saturday. Two tortured bodies of 55-year-old, Masoor Ahmed, son of Abdul Khaliq, resident of Gulistan-e-Johar, and 35-year-old, Sanaullah, son of Habibullah, resident of Shah Faisal Colony No 5, were found on National Highway near Ghaghar Phatak. Initially the bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Makli, Thatta, for postmortem.

In another incident of firing by unidentified armed men on a car in Gulshan-e-Iqbal near Moti Mehal, a 35-year-old man, Muhammad Hassan, son of Muhammad Umair, was died and another person shot and injured. The body and injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy and treatment respectively.

Separately, a youth was found dead on service road in City Railway Colony. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities. The identity of the body could not be ascertained yet.
