Four killed in different incidents


KARACHI: Four people, including a child, were killed in different road incidents in the metropolis on Wednesday.

According to Rescue sources, a youth, aged 28, was killed when his motorcycle slipped on the road near Singer Chowrangi in Korangi area. He died on the spot. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for an autopsy.

In another incident, a 24-year-old youth, Faizan, son of Abdul Maroof, a resident of Landhi, was killed when a speeding vehicle hit him at Shara-e-Faisal Gate. The deceased was moved to JMPC for medico-legal formalities.

Separately, a teenager, Babar, aged around 17, son of Aslam, died when a speeding car hit him near Shah Mohammad Graveyard in North Karachi. He belongs to North Karachi area. His body was brought to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for an autopsy.

A child, Unab Bibi, drowned in a water tub near Sherpao Colony in Landhi. She was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.
